Materials background required with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the Materials function.

Critical thinking and problem solving skills - Expert

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word - Advanced

Service orientation skills - Advanced

Ability to efficiently negotiate and solve problems with suppliers - Advanced

Excellent verbal and written skills

• Maintains synchronization of supply chain between customers, production requirements, and suppliers by managing inventory systems simulations and modeling forecasting data.
• Monitors customer inventory demand and material assets on hand or in transit in order to optimize total supply chain planning.
• Incorporates planning decision from external customers and suppliers to reduce material and product variability and arrive at optimal solutions.
• Places purchase orders using pre-negotiated supplier conditions and manage schedules for timely delivery.
• Manages vendor managed inventory deployments
