Requirements: All candidates must: * Have 3+ years medical office management experience * Be available to work long hours as needed * Remain calm and professional at all times * Be computer proficient - word, excel,pulbisher * Proficient in Medical Mastermind, Symantec Q&A software * Proficient in Quicken for accounts payable * Ability to use the internet- email, research services, supplies and other business relevant topics
Description: Responsibilities include but not limited to: * Managing personnel and training front end staff * Working with past due accounts * Scheduling * Proficiency in Medicare compliance * Ensure that the physical plant and exterior property is in good condition * Daily audit of data entry into DIET/REC_NEW * Monitor CLIA logs * Monitor patient referral log for outside testing/consults * Monitor patient call-back log * Monitor X-RAY log; enter data to XRAYLOG.DTF * Control office supply inventory * Control "HOLT" supply inventory * Monitor all Shore Billing Activity * Prepare monthly appropriate computer reports * Plan, recruit and select employees * Train, orient, evaluate, coach, discipline and maintain documentation of staff * Maintain employee productivity * Maintain employee records * Prepare time cards for payroll * Substitute for medical assistants- take vital signs, perform drug screens, strep tests, perform EKGs and UAs, process/duplicate X-Ray film
