Electronic Assembler

Salary: $13.00 - $18.00/hour

Number of Openings: 2

Quality Staffing Services is interested in qualified applicants who are looking for electronic assembler opportunities. Applicants with J-STD or IPC certifications and/or skilled in detailed, intricate, soldering, and assembly are highly encouraged to apply. 

Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm

Physical demands:

This position requires some physical exertion such as:

  • Recurring bending, reaching or similar activities
  • Lifting of moderately light items such as assembled parts, papers, and plating material kits
  • Repetitive use of hands and fingers in the assembly process

Essential functions:

  • Builds and assembles electronic components utilizing appropriate machinery and tools to ensure quality and proficiency in the completed product 
  • Utilizes various soldering techniques determined specifically by product criteria 
  • Must adhere to the building requirements and specifications shown in the MOP (manufacturing operating procedures) and BOM (bill of materials) and work instructions 
  • Inspects completed work and cleans finished products according to established procedures 
  • Measure tolerances, and use microscopes for detailed work
  • Troubleshoots and resolves problem areas 
  • Record job-specific data on forms, logs, timesheets, and other required documentation
  • Operate equipment such as: small hand tools (tweezers, cutters, and screwdrivers), soldering irons, hot plates; microscopes, calipers, cutting devices, cleaning machine and continuity testers

Knowledge and Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or GED 
    • Minimum of 6 months of related experience or specialized training
    • Previous soldering experience required 
    • J-STD or IPC certification preferred 
    • Excellent mathematical skills required 
    • Ability to interpret bar graphs 
    • Thorough knowledge of calibration, reading drawings, blueprints, and schematics
