Stock Room Clerk / Manufacturing
Salary: Up To $15 An Hour DOE
Location: Southern Delaware
1st Shift: Mon-Fri 8am-4pm
Maintains, controls, distributes and re-orders all indirect materials necessary for production and production supported activities. This position is responsible to assist in performing various key tasks such as conducting inventory counts, kitting work orders, labeling, printing assembly instructions and drawings for work orders. Performs activities to help maintain perpetual inventory controls of materials. This position also interacts with the production department regarding their inventory needs throughout the day. May perform shipping, stocking, distributing and packaging duties as needed.
Maintains documentation on materials: reviews order shop floor list for corrections and completeness; maintains accurate inventory records; performs quarterly and year-end inventories on materials and supplies and enters information in computer system; monitors and maintains accurate production order log of main and sub-assembly orders loaded for tracking purposes; prepares and documents materials for interplant transfer. Ensure all kits are filled and communicate anything that is irregular or in short supply to department supervisor
Processes and moves materials: loads materials in totes according to shop floor instructions and performs all necessary inventory transactions to ensure accuracy and proper allocation to all departments; lifts boxes and containers moves them to staging area; weigh counts and bags or jars all material received from production as over run material marking with proper inventory label and information. Assists with disposition of stocked materials, receiving and kitting production orders.
Performs computer tasks: reviews and utilizes all computer functions concerned with stockroom operations; enters daily inventory transactions.
Interacts with staff: answers material inquiries; requests materials, office supplies and shop supplies through Purchasing.
Performs cycle counts as scheduled. Helps to ensure all minimum levels are kept stocked by performing inventory counts; communicates disparities to the Material Control Supervisor.
Documents missing or incorrect quantities of materials, assists with resolving such discrepancies
