Technical Customer Service Representative
Pay – up to $16.00 / hour (depending on experience)
Location- Worcester County, MD
Handle incoming service calls by giving technical advice and/or sending parts to owner for firearms repairs. Answer emailed inquiries from business’ website requesting technical support and/or parts needed for firearms repairs in a timely fashion. When owner repair is not possible assist customer on return policy to facilitate said needed repairs depending on if is a warrantied or non-warrantied repair. Stay current with service and product changes to assist customers efficiently.
Help maintain integrity and cleanliness of the “Dealer Support Center” beyond the designated work area and into the warehouse. Must be professional and work productively while showing the ability to be efficient and utilizing time appropriately. Must follow company guidelines, policies and security procedures.
At least 1 year experience in a call center and or customer service environment. *Experience with technical support or firearms a plus.
Ability to use a personal computer along with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel is a must. Candidate must be organized, detail oriented and able to handle the work pressures associated with a fast-paced Customer Service environment.
Be able to lift 50 pounds continually if needed, able to operate office equipment, have good eye sight to read all repair and parts manuals; be capable of communications with customers and coworkers both verbally and written in English. Working mandatory overtime to include some weekends as needed.
